Michelangelo by Zsoszy Michelangelo by Zsoszy
I practiced a little the portrait drawing, with some Michelangelo style hair, and some renaissance style.

The born of this picture was quite weird. I tried to draw these days, and I just struggled with my.. illness? Allergy? Don't know which one. But about two days ago, I sat down, and I started to draw... and here is Michelangelo! It is funny because I had a lot of Other ideas that I actually Wanted to draw, but I Can't. I'm about to feel that I don't choose the theme, it chooses me.

I love this far to much why can I just imagen Leonardo coming over and tugging at his hair? I know that they weren't exactly 'pals' lol.
Anywho, I love the shading used on his nose, and the way you do hair is simply to die for. <3

This is beautiful and just like I pictured him. Also, out of curiosity because I'm English, what is the translation of your Michelangelo quote in your signature?

I think I've found the 'official' English translation, and it says:
"There's nothing lower on earth, of less account than I feel I am, and am, Lord, without You."
Though Michelangelo writes it about God, I consider this few words in other meanings for myself.

Great xD I was wondering how great would be if he appeared somewhere on AC, because I read somewhere that Leonardo used to make fun of him =P

Thank you!

Yes, it would have been good! :aww:
Well, they didn't liked each other. But I think Michelangelo was the one who 'hurt' the other.

A really great picture of il Divino, even though I usually think of him as a much more grumpy person, who throws buckets after the pope and dislikes his broken nose.
Interesting that you gave him a straight nose, it suits him well. =)

Yes, he was 'grumpier', and he had got a broken nose I know, once I wrote a tiny story about it. C:
I think this picture is just an idealized picture about him. :aww:
